I have been a nurse since 1991. My passion is helping other people in their journey towards their optimum health and wellbeing in mind, body, emotionally and spiritually. As a nurse as well as physical care, I work by supporting and advocating for people while and inspiring a wellbeing mindset.

My personal philosophy is to treat the individual as a whole person. I encourage independence and learning so that person can take control of their health and wellbeing. I also support carers, so that they too can work as a team to support the individuals progress towards the goal of leading their best possible life, while minimising the day to day effects of their health issues.

I wanted to do more, so I trained in several therapeutic interventions and grew my life experience so that I could further extend my passion for helping to a wider scope of the community, whilst continuing my career in nursing.

In 2002 I fell in love with Reiki, and I opened a small clinic in my home town, offering Reiki and I brought in other therapists with different skills, to create a holistic care clinic. Due to personal health and life changes, I had to close the clinic.

I became involved in charities and fundraising. I worked as the secretary in the lanarkshire devision of Chernobyl children’s lifeline. I supported the children emotionally via an interpreter during their stay and I enjoyed the fun we had on days out despite the language barriers. I also helped with fund raising and general planning.

My interest in the mind, body, emotion and spirt elements of wellbeing and how to achieve it grew. I trained in indian head massage, hot stone and in 2013 i completed my professional qualifications in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Clinical Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching. I have been working as a therapist since.

During this period of my life I started my own quest to understanding of my own childhood abuses and traumas and how it shaped me into the woman I am. As I had learned about the process of healing, I knew I had to work to peel away the layers of emotional pain and it’s many effects in my life. I did the internal work! I worked with my trainer in hypnosis and applied Reiki myself as well as receiving from other therapists. It took time but now I have been through the process, I have kept the lessons, but let go of the pain.

My curiosity and drive to develop ways to help others continues. I draw from my own life experiences as well as my experience as a nurse and therapist. I am a wife, mother and life long animal lover. I love learning new skills that serve me further my passion for helping others heal their lives as well as self development. I believe in taking an active role in your own healing and wellbeing. I feel personal development leads to personal empowerment.

I am a natural people person, I am adaptable and i am a great communicator. I am passionate about Life and all its experiences which allows me to connect with people on a deeper level, with kids and adults from all walks of life. I hold a non judgemental and understanding approach to people and their lives. My natural curiosity and compassion drives me to help them help themselves to heal from their struggles, experiences, situations and health issues. No matter if the source lies in mind, body, emotion or spirit. I believe people are a product of their beliefs, expectations and experiences and that at any moment we can decide to make a change. My role is to guide and support that change with my holistic and practical approach to creating a life well lived.
